The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you use this application. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally.

3. Collection and storage of personal data

Registration is required to use the application. In doing so, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address) as well as the data recorded as part of property management (e.g. property, tenant, contract and payment data). Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR to fulfil the usage agreement.

4. Hosting

The application and the associated data are hosted on servers in Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.

5. Server log files

When the application is accessed, information is automatically stored in so-called server log files that your browser transmits (e.g. browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request and IP address). This data is not merged with other data sources. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; we have a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and the security of the application.

6. Bank data and FinTS interface

If you use the banking function, account transactions are retrieved via your bank's FinTS interface in order to match payments to open receivables. This data is processed exclusively to provide this function.

7. Cookies

We use technically necessary cookies or comparable technologies to enable login (session). These are required for the operation of the application.

8. Your rights

Within the scope of the statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you also have the right to object at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). You can revoke any consent given at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). 9. Retention period

We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the stated purposes or as required by statutory retention periods (e.g. tax and commercial law requirements).
